We specialize in seamlessly transitioning seniors from their ‘family home’ to a senior care home or retirement residence. Our services include an initial consultation, packing, moving, set-up in the senior care home or retirement residence, clean up in the family home and the disposal of unwanted items. High Consumer Demand. In the initial years, from a ‘standing start’, Genie Senior Services has carried out almost 2,500 transitions, primarily in the Greater Vancouver area. We have also carried out transitions on Vancouver Island and in Penticton and Kamloops. Affordable – We have one of the lowest initial investments for a franchised business. Low Risk – Low initial investment with no need to sign long-term leases for premises or purchase expensive equipment and supplies. Almost all our business is generated from referrals from our established relationships with the management of senior care homes or retirement residences. Low Receivables – This is a cash flow business. No Working on Weekends – Enjoy the weekends with your family and friends. Weekend are family time for homes and for us, so it is the perfect fit. Homes do not want us there on weekends and thus you can enjoy your time with family. Flexible Schedule – You have the freedom to set your own schedule. Scalable – You can expand easily and economically to meet consumer demand. Add trailers and teams as required. Low Competition – Genie Senior Services is the only ‘Brand Name’ in senior transitions. Unlike other companies we exclusively use our own teams to ensure the transition is seamless, less expensive and more secure (all employees have passed a Criminal Records Check).
